Family Fun Day Draws Interest and Media

A recent Family Fun Day held by Gainesville Cohousing brought out an interested group of families and individuals wanting to know more about Florida’s first cohousing community.

The event held Sunday, March 16, was a celebration of purchasing the 4.75 acres in northwest Gainesville that will be the home for our community. Attendees learned about the plan to build 24, eco-friendly homes and a community facility. They were also given the opportunity to go out and look at the site.
